Standards Board

The Data Vault Standards Board (DVSB) is an independent standards board that is accountable for the due process, outcomes, and ratification of the Data Vault Standards (both Data Vault 1.0 and Data Vault 2.0), including any changes to the standards.  Members of the Standards Board are appointed by the DVSB Foundation Board of Directors.

Dan Linstedt

Chair of the DVSB Foundation Board of Directors

Author, founder, and inventor of Data Vault modeling, methodology, and architecture. Dan is the world-renowned expert in Data Vault. He has 25+ years of IT industry experience with a majority of that time spent in big data systems, business intelligence, and data warehousing. He teaches all the certification classes available in Vermont. He has helped many Fortune 50 companies including Nike, US Air Force, US Department of Defense, American Automobile Association, Desjardins Bank, and Edmonton Police Services (to name a few) implement their global Data Vault visions. Sanjay Pande

DVSB Foundation Board of Directors Member

Sanjay Pande is the co-founder of Data Vault Alliance. Sometimes he provides instruction on big data technologies and their role in Data Warehouses especially using the Data Vault 2.0 architecture. He has over 20 years of industry experience spanning 3 continents, consulting with very large enterprises, leading data integration vendors and world-renowned public research universities.  He is an expert in Big Data, NoSQL, and Hybrid solutions.

He’s worked with Dan Linstedt on Data Vault projects for over 10 years, and currently works directly with Dan to produce content for DataVaultAlliance.com (formerly LearnDataVault.com).   Sanjay is a Certified Data Vault 2.0 Practitioner and a Certified Data Vault Master.

Cindi Meyersohn

DVSB Foundation Board of Directors Member

C​indi has worked in a variety of IT realms over the past 35 years and has spent the last 17 years working in applications and data engineering development within the DoD. As a Data Vault 2.0 (DV2) Solution Architect and Certified Instructor, her responsibilities and expertise range from the design, development, implementation, and technical guidance of Enterprise Data Warehouse/Big Data builds to crafting processes surrounding data acquisition and ingest, data governance and Master Data Management policy and compliance, development and team leadership.

Cindi is a cleared resource and is qualified to train, discuss, and provide guidance for and in ​US government secure environments. She has spent the past five years leading the architectural design, implementation, and ELT development of Data Vault 2.0 solutions at the DoD. Cindi holds a MS in Systems Engineering from George Washington University and a BS in Information Systems from Strayer University.

Nols Ebersohn

DVSB Board Member

Nols has acquired extensive experience and skill over the last 20 years across a broad range of disciplines encompassed by Information Management and the supporting architectures. He committed to establishing governance capabilities and guiding these capabilities from infancy to maturity, focusing on operability as a key accomplishment for organizations. As an expert in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence implementation, Nols utilizes a number of tool sets including IBM InfoSphere and SAS Data Integration Server. His role at Certus has allowed him to work in a variety of industries and acquire an in-depth understanding of traditional challenges faced by all of today’s organizations.
